We’re giving away a scholarship to at least two lucky students for $1,000 each!

Here’s what you need to know before you apply:

WHO:

Students (U.S. residents or permanent residents only) currently attending a college or junior college, who will still be enrolled by the December 1st notification date, or any student in the 11th or 12th grade of high school.  Preference will be given to students who live in, or grew up in, the Antelope Valley.

MAJOR/INDUSTRY:

We are offering the Kuzyk Law Scholarship to those interested in legal studies.

APPLICATION ESSAY:

Submit a 400-500 word essay on one of the following topics:

  • Describe what you plan on doing after you graduate from college as it relates to practicing law, and why.
  • What are some clever or innovative ways to foster client-business relationships, and why is this important?
  • Describe a time in your life where injury or disability kept you or a family member from getting something you needed.

Please also describe your family and financial situation, and what challenges you have overcome, as consideration may be given to financial need and circumstances.

SELECTION:

A recipient will be selected at the sole discretion of executives from Kuzyk Law based on the most compelling, informative, original essay, and possibly based on financial need.

DEADLINE:

This is an annual scholarship, and applications are due by May 31st, 2020.

NOTIFICATION:

The scholarship recipient will be notified by email, and announced publicly via Kuzyk Law Facebook and Twitter pages.
